About Halton BFI

Welcome to the Halton Baby-Friendly Initiative! We are a community coalition consisting of health care professionals and people who support breastfeeding working together to facilitate the Baby-Friendly Initiative in the Halton community. The Baby-Friendly Initiative is a global initiative that aims to give every baby the best start in life. This is done by creating an environment, starting with healthcare where all families are supported with breastfeeding their babies. Become Involved

Halton BFI members are healthcare professionals and members of the public who support breastfeeding who live, work or volunteer in Halton Region. We collaborate as a community to ensure families receive breastfeeding support and support local organizations in their BFI journey. Halton BFI membership is open to anyone who is interested in promoting the Baby-Friendly Initiative. Members attend at least 50% of monthly meetings.
