Canadian Breastfeeding Week Hike! 2016

We’re looking forward to celebrating Canadian Breastfeeding Week from October 1-8, 2016!

This year, in support of the World Health Organization’s objective of highlighting the sustainability benefits of breastfeeding, we’re going to get outside!

In partnership with Halton Babywearing Hikes, the Halton BFI invites families to join us for a FREE guided nature hike. The event will take place at Lions Valley at the “Green picnic area A” on Wednesday, October 5th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.

We encourage participants to wear their baby in a carrier if possible. The hike is stroller-accessible but there is one steep-ish hill. The hike itself will be 3km (it will take approximately 40 mins) and will be followed by complementary light snacks and awesome (out)door prizes!
