In support of global efforts to flatten the curve of COVID-19 infection and public health recommendations for physical distancing, all in-person Halton Baby-Friendly Initiative events are suspended until further notice. This includes our monthly scheduled membership meetings, as well as community special events. We hope to resume our membership meetings in Fall 2020, provided it is safe and recommended to do so by public health officials. Further communication will be sent as it becomes available regarding any specific events planned for 2020.
In the interim, many virtual and online resources are available on our website (www.babyfriendlyhalton.ca ) to support you. Our online channels remain operational, but you may experience a delayed response due to reduced staff and volunteer availability.
In these challenging times, it is now more important than ever to maintain our community efforts and support each other. We look forward to continuing to support you, and Halton, as we all do our part staying home and staying safe.
