No matter what kind of workplace you are, you can make sure that you’re a breastfeeding friendly space.
First, make sure that there is policy in place that supports breastfeeding for parents returning to work after maternity leave.
Locate breastfeeding resources in the community and make them available to colleagues at the workplace who are expecting.
Be supportive of parents needing to breastfeed/express milk in the workplace.
Help and encourage other workplaces to establish policies and support breastfeeding families.
